What happens when an immovable object,
Meets an unstoppable force?
Time freezes.
And in this brief fraction of a second,
One could experience forever.
But the problem with such forces is that,
Though they are destined to be attracted to each other,
Upon contact they will neither give in or give up.
They will simply stare each other down in adoration
Behind a barrier made of nothing but the result of their own impact,
And in this moment of frozen time feel closer and more distant
To each other than they have ever to anything in their whole entire existence.
But then, as quickly as they met,
Fate will push them in different directions,
And life will resume as though nothing had happened but,
Their meeting will be forever chiseled into their beings
Because you see…
What happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force is irrelevant.
But what is experienced, is pertinent.
And what is experienced, is everything.
Everything, and nothing.
Oh, you. You just couldn’t let me go, could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You are truly incorruptible, aren’t you? Huh? You won’t kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness. And I won’t kill you because you’re just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever.

“I’m not fading into the shadows, if that’s what you’re asking. I’m not going anywhere. We’re not going anywhere. It’s not like when the Bulls beat the Pistons and they disappeared forever. I’m not going for that shit. Come hell or high water, we’re going to be there again.” —Kobe Bryant
I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.
